SENIOR ADVISOR

Fred Guttenberg is a senior advisor to Brady, focusing on survivor engagement and political strategy. Fred has dedicated his life to ending gun violence in memory of his daughter, Jaime Guttenberg, who was shot and killed alongside 16 others in the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL, on February 14, 2018.

Whether he is on Capitol Hill, the White House, or in his local community Fred brings Brady’s unique approach to the forefront of discussion.

He has testified before Congress and has been featured on Good Morning America, ABC News, NBC News, MSNBC, and CNN among other national and local media outlets. He is also the author of two books, including “American Carnage: Shattering the Myths That Fuel Gun Violence.” Fred lives in Florida with his wife and son.
